Okay, sorry for the distraction, but it isn’t everyday I get an agent. There’s an old saying that goes, “Nothing breeds success, like success.” Now I don’t want to jump the gun, I mean the novel hasn’t been sold yet of course, but getting an agent is a big step in the right direction. And it has me stoked. I’ve been hammering out pages like crazy on the sequel to SLEEPING DOGS, and it’s moving fast! It’s fun and exciting to bring Gil, Max and Pilgrim closer to life. To be able to explore why they are who they are and to see what the future holds for them. Writing is an act of creation and when I write I feel closer to God and His act of creation (although mine is on a slightly smaller scale).I think Gil will be a nice addition to the Christian reading audience. He’s a bit rough around the edges, a man’s man that women can like too, but completely committed to God. As Gil says, he’s a work in progress, and God still has a lot of work to do on him. But his heart is right and his desire to grow in his relationship with Jesus Christ will bring closer to His image.  So, get ready. Gil, Max and friends, will be talking, punning, punching, shooting, and biting their way into your lives in no time at all.Now I must get back…back…back to the sequel! |
And I haven't even sold the first one!
